The Geller Blue Book SKUs can only be imported if you are properly licensed for them. See Geller SKUs: Licensing for more information.
To download and import the Geller SKUs:
- Navigate to www.EdgeUser.com.
- At the top, click Downloads > Repair SKUs.
- Click on the version that matches the license you purchased (e.g., 6.40) and save this file to your computer. Be sure to save it to an easy to find spot, such as your Downloads folder or Desktop.
- In The Edge, click Administrative > Repair > Import SKU Table.
- Click the drop-down under Import SKUs From File and find the file you just downloaded (e.g., Geller640).
- Set your Method options as desired:
New SKU Only |
Only import SKUs that are brand new and were never previously imported. |
Overwrite All SKUs |
Import all SKUs and overwrite existing Geller SKUs with the latest version (RECOMMENDED) |
Preserve SKUs Created Here |
Check this to keep any SKUs you created manually. |
Preserve SKUs Modified Here |
Check this if you do NOT want Geller SKUs that you manually changed to be updated. |
- If you want to modify pricing for all SKUs during the import, set the Cost/Price adjustment percentages. Additionally, you can choose to Round to Dollar all SKUs.
- Click OK to begin the import.
- When it is finished a window will appear with details on the import.
- You can now utilize the SKUs at POS. It is recommended you start a repair intake and test a SKU or two to ensure the import worked.
To view and/or edit the imported SKUs:
- Click Administrative > Repair > Repair SKUs.
- A list of all the repair SKUs will appear.
- Use the Edit button or double click to open a SKU record.
- To make Price or Cost adjustments, visit the Pricing tab.
- If certain SKUs are used frequently, consider checking Add to Frequently Used List. SKUs marked in this way will display in the SKU drop-down list when adding a Repair Task to a repair.
