Workstation Error: There was an issue saving the image, please try again.

This message will appear when your Workstation PC does not have access to the photo's folder to properly save the image. We see this commonly occur after Windows updates, as they can often revert your network sharing settings.

The first step in troubleshooting this would be going to your SERVER PC, and altering the settings below:

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel by typing Control Panel from the Windows File Explorer.
2. Under Network and Internet, click Choose homegroup and sharing options.
  3. Select Change Advanced Sharing Settings.
  4. Under Network discovery, select Turn on Network Discovery.
  5. Under File and Printer Sharing, select Turn on File and Printer Sharing
  6. Under All Networks > Public Folder Sharing - select Turn on Sharing so Anyone with Network Access Can Read and Write Files in the Public Folders.
  7. Under All Networks > Password Protected Sharing - Select Turn Off Password Protected Sharing.

enlightenedIf the above does not resolve the issue, Edge Technical Support may be able to help you resolve. However, since this issue is a Windows networking problem, we may request the assistance of your local technician.
