Below are the prerequisites needed prior to installing The Edge, as they are required in order to operate the program successfully.
These software programs need to be installed individually on any/all computers that will be running The Edge.
Microsoft .NET Framework
You may already have the correct version of .NET Framework installed on your computer. The way to verify is to attempt to install the software. If .NET Framework is already installed, you will see a message indicating that it cannot be installed because the program already exists.
For The Edge v. 18.2 and higher, you will need .NET v. 4.7.2. Download it here:

Crystal Reports Runtime
Download and install Crystal Reports v. 13.0.16. Download it here:

QuickBooks Foundation Classes
If you plan to integrate The Edge with QuickBooks Desktop, then download and install QuickBooks Foundation Classes v. 13.
This program ONLY needs to be installed on the one computer running your QuickBooks.

This is NOT required if integrating with QuickBooks Online.
Website/Ecommerce
To integrate successfully with either add-on solution, Edge Data transfer (EDT) or Edge Connector (ECon), you must meet or exceed the full recommended requirements outlined above. You are also required to be running Windows 10 or higher on your PC.
Anything older than Windows 10 may cause integrations to fail. This means that if you are running a version of Windows older than Windows 10, you may need to update your Windows Operating System with the help of your local IT.
