ECon is installed and configured on the server at your store.  

Please note, this installation is performed by Clientbook.

After settings are specified, an initial full upload is performed.  Depending on the number of customers, products, sales, notes, and wish lists, this may take several hours to complete.

Once the initial full upload is completed, the ECon service is activated and will automatically synchronize changes between Edge and Clientbook every 15 minutes.

Quick Sync

Need a new Clientbook customer entered into Edge right away? Beginning with Edge version 26.1.2.330, a new Quick Sync checkbox was added that allows newly created Clientbook customers to be imported into Edge without waiting for the next 15-minute synchronization. This feature must be manually configured by a Clientbook technician for both new installations and updates to existing integrations. Once enabled, the Quick Sync timer will begin syncing newly created customers from Clientbook into Edge added within the set minutes. The regular 15-minute sync will continue to handle normal updates between Edge and Clientbook, including other Customer data such as Messages, Wish Lists, and Notes.

By eliminating the wait for a newly created Clientbook Customer to appear in Edge, Associates can move more quickly from creating the Customer Record to working with that Customer in Edge. This helps keep the sales process moving smoothly, reduces interruptions during the customer interaction, and allows Associates to continue with the transaction while the Customer is still actively engaged.

As mentioned, your store must be running Edge version 26.1.2.330 or later for this checkbox to be available. To verify your current Edge version, look in the bottom-left corner of the Edge home screen.
