Processing Check Transactions


To process a check payment:

  1. Click the Check button. The Check Tender window will appear.

     
  2. Enter the Check #. The Amount will default to total due. Change if necessary.
    NOTE:  This field was updated beginning with Edge version 24.1 to allow for typing letters in addition to numbers.
     
  3. Use the Check Type drop-down to select the type of check.
  4. Click OK to apply.


Note: To modify your Check Types, go to Administrative > Lists > Lists.  When the lists window opens, click the Show System Lists checkbox at the bottom.  Double click on Check Types.
