Starting with Edge version 21.2, a new button was added for the convenience of creating a repair ticket right from an Item Sale Line in POS.
In addition to inventory items, this button allows associates to create repairs for:
- Special Order pickups
- Layaway Item pickups
- Memo Out pickups
To add repair tickets using the Create Repair Ticket button:
- Navigate to POS and start a sale as normal by entering the Associate and finding/adding your Customer.
- Enter item to be sold and/or picked up by the customer using the Sell Item or Pick Up/Finish buttons.
- On the Item Sale Line, click the More… button to locate the Create Repair Ticket button and click to open the Repair Intake window.
- Enter your Repair as normal and click OK/Save & Close.
