Create Repair Ticket Button


Starting with Edge version 21.2, a new button was added for the convenience of creating a repair ticket right from an Item Sale Line in POS.

In addition to inventory items, this button allows associates to create repairs for:

  • Special Order pickups
  • Layaway Item pickups
  • Memo Out pickups

To add repair tickets using the Create Repair Ticket button:

  1. Navigate to POS and start a sale as normal by entering the Associate and finding/adding your Customer.
  2. Enter item to be sold and/or picked up by the customer using the Sell Item or Pick Up/Finish buttons.
  3. On the Item Sale Line, click the More… button to locate the Create Repair Ticket button and click to open the Repair Intake window.

     
  4. Enter your Repair as normal and click OK/Save & Close
