In some cases when you are unable to see photos on your stations, it is due to a Windows update. A Windows upgrade may have caused your network and sharing settings to be disrupted leading to a disconnect between your Server and Workstations. If so, it would be best if you obtained the assistance of your local technician.
In the meantime, follow the guide below as a first-step towards resolution to this disconnect:
- Open the Windows Control Panel by typing Control Panel from the Windows File Explorer.
- Under Network and Internet, click Choose Homegroup and Sharing Options. Select Change Advanced Sharing Settings.
- Under Network Discovery, select Turn on Network Discovery.
- Under File and Printer Sharing, select Turn on File and Printer Sharing.
- Under All Networks > Public folder sharing, select Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write files in the Public folders.
- Under All Networks > Password Protected Sharing, select Turn off password protected sharing.
