Customers: Set as Primary


For linked customer records (couples), one person is designated as the primary account holder.  Their name will appear first and their customer number is used for shared accounts, such as credit balances.

To change the primary customer:

  1. Find and Edit the customer's spouse/partner.  Or, look up the current primary customer and click Switch to Spouse at the bottom.
  2. Click Supervisor > Set as Primary Customer.
  3. A confirmation window will appear.  Click Yes.
