Spouse / Partner: Linking


You can add a Spouse/Partner directly from the Customer record or Customer Display.  This can link to an existing Edge customer or add a new customer.

When adding a customer for the first time, you can enter their Spouse/Partner information at the same time. This will automatically create two customer records and link them.

From the Customer record:

  1. Find and Edit the customer that will be the Primary.
  2. If the spouse already has a customer record, click the drop-down under Spouse/Partner and enter criteria to find the customer.
  3. If the spouse does not have a customer record, simply start typing their information into the Spouse/Partner name fields.
  4. Save your changes.

From the Customer Display:

  1. Find the customer that will be Primary at POS.
  2. Click the General tab on the Customer Display.
  3. Next to Spouse/Partner, click the magnifying glass to find their record or the plus sign to add them now.
  4. Find the customer or, if new, complete the New Customer form.
