Running Scheduled Postcard Jobs

If you have properly set up both The Edge and Windows Task Scheduler then your scheduled postcard mailings will run automatically. All postcards are batch printed on the following Sunday. You can use the Postcard History button (Customer > Postcards > History) to view jobs that are pending printing along with the list of customers each card is going to be mailed to. Although you cannot make changes from the software at this time, you are still able to contact DriveRetail directly to have them manually make a correction before the printing on Sunday.

If something goes wrong with the automated mailing you are able to run the scheduled jobs manually

To do so:

  1. Click Customer > Postcards > Schedule.
  2. Select the job you want to run.
  3. At the bottom of the window, click the Run Now button.

enlightenedUsing Run Now will not prevent the postcard job from being run by Windows Task Scheduler. You should only use it if you are confident the automatic mailing failed, otherwise you risk sending duplicate cards.
