Wish Lists: Setup


Though there is no specific setup required to use this feature, it is important to review the System Options and Associate Permissions.

Any associate can add a Wish to a customer. There is no specific permission required, though the associate will be asked to enter their login for tracking purposes.

System Options

 

Wish List Commission Split Defines how commission is split when a Wish List item is sold

100 = 100% commission to the associate that processed the sale

0 = 100% commission to the associate that added the Wish

Enter a number between 0 and 100.  40, for example, would award 40% commission to the associate that processed the sale and 60% to the associate that entered the Wish
Wish List Deletion Options Controls who can delete Wishes

Any = No permission required, anyone can delete

Permission = Associate must have Delete a Wish List Item permission

Override = Associate must have Delete a Wish List Item permission and will be required to provide Override notes
Wish List Pop-Ups for Style Sale Set this to True if you want the system to check the vendor and vendor style # of the items on this sale against open Wishes for this customer

If a match is found, it will offer to update the Wish to use the item number from this sale and mark the Wish as Bought
Include Wish List Splits in Dashboards Whether to factor Wish List splits in when displaying sales by associate on Dashboard tiles

Associate Permissions

 

Administer Wish Lists Grants access to the functions on the Customer > Wish Lists menu
Delete a Wish List Entry Required to delete a Wish if the Wish List Deletion system option is set to Required or Override
Report - Wish List Grants access to run the Wish List report
