There are four ways to find and edit wishes:
- POS
- POS - Customer Display
- Customer Find
- Wish Lists Find (search by individual wish instead of customer)
You can convert a Wish to an Opportunity by using the Add Oppo button found in the bottom menu of the Wish edit screen.
POS
Wishes can be searched, edited, and removed from POS.
To find Wishes at POS:
- Find the customer. Utilize the Wishes tab of the customer filter to search by Wish criteria.
If using Fast Customer Find, click the More... button to see the full customer filter.
- Click Wish List > Show my Wish List Items. The Customer Wish List window will appear.

Buttons and options on this window include:

Stock - Load the selected item into POS
Non/Out of Stock - Find an item to fulfill this wish or start a Special Order intake for it |

- View Wishes and make any desired changes. Be sure to save if editing.
POS - Customer Display
Wishes can be searched, edited, and removed from POS using the Customer Display.
The
Customer Display is a
sidebar that appears on the right hand side of POS and contains tabs for working with the customer's record. We
strongly recommend enabling this by turning on the
System Option Show Customer Display.
To view Wishes at POS using the Customer Display:
- Find the customer. Utilize the Wishes tab of the customer filter to search by Wish criteria.
If using Fast Customer Find, click the More... button to see the full customer filter.
- On the right, click the Wish tab. The Wish List panel will slide out displaying current Wishes.

Options and buttons on this screen include:
Customer Selection |
Use the radio buttons at the top to switch between viewing Wishes for the primary customer, their spouse/partner, or both |

Use the radio buttons at the top to switch between viewing all active Wishes, only In Stock Wishes, Bought Wishes, or Remove Wishes |

Use the Search box in the top right to filter displayed Wishes by entered text |
Order |
Located below Search, use the drop-down to select how the Wishes are ordered on the screen |

Customer Find
Wishes can be searched, edited, and removed from the customer record accessible from the main menu.
- Click Customer > Find. The Customer Find Filter will appear.
- Enter criteria to find the customer and click OK. Utilize the Wishes tab of the customer filter to search by Wish criteria.
- Edit the customer and click on the Wish List tab.
- View Wishes and make any desired changes. Be sure to save if editing.
Wish List Find
Wishes can be individually searched and edited using the Wish List button on the main menu.
- Click Customer > Wish Lists > Find. The Find Wish Lists window will appear.

- Enter desired criteria and click OK. See Customer Find: Wishes Tab for definitions of the fields and options here.
- Unlike the other methods, which find specific customers and their entire Wish List, this will search and return individual Wishes.
- View Wishes and make any desired changes. Be sure to save if editing.
