Q: Why can't I adjust the price of an item from the General tab of the item record?
A: Most commonly, if you cannot alter pricing under the GENERAL tab of an inventory item record, it is because the item is a bulk pricing method. Pricing is tied to the invoice for bulk items.
If you need to alter price or cost, go to the QUANTITIES tab.
You can either double click on the invoice, or single click and select ADJUST. From here, you can adjust the price as needed.
Alternatively, you may use the Supervisor button and click See Cost to adjust/change the cost of your bulk item.
