A typical EDT integration launch follows these steps.
- EDT is setup and configured at the store.
- A full upload is completed.
a. If Single Directional, this consists of item and image upload only.
i. There is no need to send any files back to us.
b. If Bi-Directional, this includes customers and wish lists.
i. You should next generate customer and wish list files to send back to us via the Outbox that contain the same data sent to you with the addition of the WebTransferID so they can be linked in the Edge database.
- EDT is then set up to run on a schedule and activated. The frequency of the schedule can range from every 15 minutes to only once a day depending on your preference.
