Hotfix Release: Edge Version 26.2.7.922

Version 26.2.7.922  |  09/22/26

This update supersedes Hotfix 26.2.6.914. It includes the corrective changes listed below.

26.2 Feature Release NotesSingle Store UpdateMulti-Store Update

IMPORTANT: Upgrading to 26.2 and the New Desktop UI

If you waited to update to Edge version 26.2 until the release of this hotfix, please review the full 26.2 Feature Release Notes before enabling the new Desktop UI.

The new Desktop UI is not enabled automatically when you update and must be manually activated through System Options. Before making the switch, there are important requirements and considerations outlined in the original feature release notes that may affect your store.

In particular, please review the information regarding minimum screen resolution requirements and Memorized Reports. The new Desktop UI has updated resolution requirements, especially when using the Customer POS Display and Point of Sale on Desktop. Additionally, while existing Memorized Reports will remain available, custom report groupings from the previous Desktop will not carry over and may need to be reorganized.

We strongly recommend reviewing the complete 26.2 Feature Release Notes before enabling the new Desktop UI, especially if you are updating directly to this hotfix.

Corrective Changes

17 corrective changes are included in this hotfix.

Time Clock/Attendance Time Is Not Honoring System Options for Elapsed Time in Hours/Mins

Bug 12622

With the System Option ‘Show Elapsed Time in Hours and Mins’ set to true, Time Card Management lists and the Attendance report displayed totals correctly, but exporting the list with totals or exporting the Attendance report to CSV or XLSX compiled the hours as decimals instead. Exports now honor the System Option and report elapsed time in hours and minutes.

Attendance Report Exported to CSV/XLSX Does Not Include Time

Bug 12631

Running the ‘Attendance’ report (Reports > Management > Staff > Attendance) and exporting it to CSV or XLSX carried the Punch In/Out over without the time. The XLSX export left the time out of the cell value and the CSV export showed no time at all. Exports now include the full punch time.

Export Raw Is Missing Pertinent Item Details

Bug 12633

Exporting items from the item list view through ‘Supervisor > Export Raw Items’ left out item detail fields such as Item Style and Item Size, even when those fields were filled out on the item record. The export now includes Item Style, Manufacturer, Length, Millimeter, Serial Number, Old Barcode, and the Custom Detail 1 through 16 fields.

Not Automatically Typing Into Repair Permission Box

Bug 12639

On the previous Desktop UI, going to ‘Find > Job’ while logged out brought up the permission box without focus in the username field. Typing before clicking into the box opened tabs elsewhere in The Edge instead of entering text. The permission pop-up now retains focus. Accepting it opens the Find dialog, and Cancel or a failed permission exits.

Can No Longer Print Images From List View

Bug 12640

Pulling an item list at ‘Inventory > Items > Find’, switching the view to show images, and using ‘Print/Export’ produced output with no photos, even when items had them. Photos can be printed from list view again.

Cannot See Locations From Other Stores in Move Envelopes Menu

Bug 12641

In a multi-store setup, ‘Services > Move Envelopes’ listed only the locations belonging to the current store, although locations from other stores still appeared in the location dropdown on individual job records. Active envelope locations from all stores are now available in the Move Envelopes menu.

Hitting Enter Doesn't Open Job

Bug 12643

Scanning a job envelope barcode under ‘Find > Job’ and pressing Enter on the resulting list did not open the job, although Enter worked in other areas such as items and special orders. Scanning an envelope and pressing Enter now opens the job.

Print/Export Does Not Honor Selections From Services Window

Bug 12644

After populating a list at ‘Services > Find Repair/Custom Job’ and opening ‘Print/Export’, the column selections were ignored and the default data printed instead. The problem appeared once a saved preset or default was loaded, which set the previously selected columns without honoring them. Print/Export output now follows the selected columns and their order across the lists that share the Print/Export window.

Loading Program Defaults From the Presets of Print/Export Causes Blank Window

Bug 12645

After populating a list at ‘Services > Find Repair/Custom Job’, opening ‘Print/Export’ and choosing ‘Presets > Load Program Defaults’ removed all selections and left a blank window. Load Program Defaults now loads the default selections correctly.

Hitting Enter While in Repair List View Just Scrolls Through Jobs

Bug 12646

In a repair list, pressing Enter moved the highlight down the list the way the arrow keys do instead of opening the selected job. Special orders, appraisals, and item lists opened the job as expected. Pressing Enter when the list first appears now opens the selected job.

Cannot Export Raw From Customer > Find

Bug 12647

Earlier versions let you right click a customer list at ‘Customer > Find’ and choose either Export or Export Raw. On the current version the raw option was gone, so the export returned only what was on screen rather than fields such as birthdays, anniversaries, and last Podium. A ‘Supervisor > Export Raw Customers’ option has been added to the customer list.

Customer Export for Other Does Not Populate Last Purchase Date

Bug 12648

The Customer Export at ‘Clientele > Export > For Other’ and ‘For Mail’ left the LastPurchaseDate column blank. The column again shows each customer's most recent purchase date. A new Last Review Sent column has also been added to the end of both exports, showing the date a review request was last sent to the customer through Podium or Clientbook.

Copying Dashboard Creates a Blank Dashboard, Old UI Only

Bug 12650

On the previous Desktop UI, adding a dashboard at ‘Dashboards > Dashboards > Add’ and using ‘Copy From’ to copy an existing dashboard created the dashboard without any tiles. The new Desktop UI was not affected. Copied dashboards now carry their tiles over on both UIs.

Postcards Will Not Go Out on New UI

Bug 12662

Recurring postcards set up at ‘Clientele > Postcards > Schedule Recurring Postcards’ did not send when run through a Windows scheduled task using the -postcard argument. The task reported success but ‘Postcard Campaign History’ showed no cards sent. Cards could still be run manually. Scheduled postcards now send through the task.

Closing an Open Tab in the Classic UI or New UI via Esc No Longer Works as in 26.1.5.615

Bug 12665

In both the Classic UI and the new Desktop UI, pressing Esc on an open window tab did not close it and the Close button had to be used instead. In 26.1.5.615, Esc closed the open window. The Esc key again closes the active window on both UIs.

List Views Do Not Honor Custom Sorting When Set as Default or a Saved Setting

Bug 12666

Sorting a list view by a column and saving it through ‘Presets > Set as Default’ or ‘Presets > Save Settings’ did not preserve the sort. Reopening the list, or loading the saved setting from the dropdown, returned the default order. Column sort order is now saved with defaults and saved views alongside column order.

SPO/Parts Report Omitting Estimated Services

Bug 12667

The report at ‘Reports > Inventory > Buying/Ordering > SPO/Parts Report’ left out estimated services whether or not they had been approved, so only the special order appeared. Estimate Only jobs were missing even when approved, and stores had to run the Waiting for Parts report to find those services to order them. Estimated service parts are now included on the report.
