The Customer Find Filter is used to search for customers. Its capabilities range from simple searches, such as finding a customer by their phone number, to much more advanced queries, such as finding all customers who have purchased an item from a specific vendor during a designated time period.
See Customer Find: List View for information on working with the list of customers you get after performing a Customer Find.

The filter appears when you lookup customers via Customer > Find, and also shows up nested in many places throughout the software, from inventory searches to reports to marketing.
For example, when searching for sold items using Items > Find you will see a Sold To drop-down at the bottom of the Type & Status tab. Clicking on this will open a Customer Find Filter allowing you to enter additional criteria.
All Find filters in The Edge cumulatively honor the criteria from all tabs and nested filters allowing you to perform complex, targeted searches.
Mastering this filter is an important step in maximizing the Edge's marketing potential. Whether you are exporting customers lists for use elsewhere or utilizing the software's built-in marketing tools, understanding this filter will help you achieve success.
The articles in this section fully explain each tab of the filter.
