Shipping Records must be created for each store location that will be receiving ordered items. These records contain your store name and shipping address. The Edge can automatically generate (recommended) these for you. You also have the option to manually create these. Regardless, they can be edited at any time.
NOTE: For multi-stores, Shipping Records can only be managed at the HQ (primary) store and will be included in the inter-store transfer.
To generate Shipping Records:
- Click Inventory > PO > Shipping Records.
- Click the Generate Store(s) button at the bottom.
- The Edge will display a message stating it is going to generate shipping locations. Click Yes to proceed.
To manually add Shipping Records:
- Click Inventory > PO > Shipping Records.
- Click the Add button at the bottom.
- Select a Store for this address. Each Shipping Record must be assigned to a store. There is no limit to the number of shipping addresses you can assign to a store.
- Enter a Name for this location.
- Optionally, enter an Email and Phone.
- Use the Address tab to enter the address details. This is required.
- Click Save.
