The Purchase Order system makes reordering easy by allowing you to queue items for order from many areas of the software. From simple item lists to more advanced buying reports/tools, the software gives you the flexibility to manage reorders manually as well as tools to help you make informed buying decisions.
NOTE: Special Orders are automatically queued once the Need More Info checkbox on their record is unchecked.
The Queue Items for Order window can be accessed from all the following places:
Inventory
Item Lists
- The Order Items button appears at the bottom of every item list. Use in conjunction with Show Checkboxes to queue multiple.
Inventory Levels
- The Queue Item button appears at the bottom of the Levels list.
Item Record
- While you cannot directly queue from the item record, every item record has a Levels button that does contain a Queue Item button.
Buying Tools
Reorder Form
- Use the Reorder Form to identify fast sellers and styles that are below reorder points. See Reorder Form for more information.
Weekly Buying Plan
- Implement a Weekly Buying Plan to help automate the process of reordering fast sellers and replenishing stock levels. See Weekly Plan for more information.
Reports
Analytic Reports
- On any of these reports, click directly on the number of items to get a list of the underlying item records along with an Order Items button.
Inventory Reports
- On any of these reports, click directly on the item number to bring up the item record where you can use the Levels button to access the Queue Item button.
