Steps for selling Gift Certificates in POS:
- Open your POS and select the Sell Gift Cert button.
- Enter the value you wish to activate it for.
- Enter the name of the recipient of the certificate.
You can then either write out a message in the box that is personal to the customer giving the Gift Certificate, OR you may choose to instead click on "Pick Standard Message".
If you do not have any standard messages saved yet, you can click Add from this same screen and write out a generic message, then click OK/Save & Close to save this message for future use.
You can create as many standard messages as you like, if you want to create ones for certain holidays, etc.
After you have filled out all the information for the Gift Certificate, click OK to have the customer then pay for the certificate.
