Follow the steps outlined below for turning off the JE warning in QuickBooks Desktop:
- In QuickBooks, click on the Gear icon and choose Account and Settings.
- From here select Advanced from the menu to the left as shown below:
- Under Other preferences there is an option to Warn if duplicate journal number is used. Turn this warning OFF.
NOTE: The image below shows the option toggled to ON (green) for your reference. Button will appear grayed out when successfully turned off.
