Error: Could not fit anything on page 1

It seems that this error is stating that it cannot fit anything on the page. This is most likely due to incorrect margins with your printer settings.

Incorrect printer settings can cause a number of problems such as missing columns on reports, envelopes printing in the wrong orientation, and print related error messages. Invalid settings effect both print preview as well as the physical printed document.

As a first step in bypassing this error message, you will follow the steps below:

You will want to first set your printer as the Windows default printer.
To do so:

  1. Navigate to your computer's Control Panel > Devices & Printers.
  2. Right click on your normal printer and select the option Set as Default Printer.
NOTE:  You will know it's set correctly when it displays the green checkmark. When there is not a printer listed with a green checkmark, it means Windows is managing your printers so you need to manually select your printer.

Next, you will want to properly setup printer options in Edge.
To do so:

  1. Open The Edge and click File > Printer Settings and select Receipt, List, or Report, depending on what you are trying to print.
NOTE:  We recommend you check the settings on each of the 3 printer settings (Receipts, List and Report) as the same trouble often applies to all three of the these types.

  2. Make sure the settings match the below settings:

Choose the correct printer from the drop-down menu.
The fill in each of the following options.
Paper size: Letter or 8 ½ x 11
Paper Source: Automatically select
Resolution: Custom
Duplex: Default
Orientation: Landscape
Important; Set all four margins to 0.25

enlightened Printer margins are set independently at each workstation. Take the time to ensure all three printer settings (receipts, list and report) are setup accurately on all Edge workstations.

However if that does not work I would recommend DELETING the IMAGE on the ITEM attached to this receipt that caused the error message, as we will see this error most commonly occur with chains/necklaces where you took a VERY LONG image, and it's going to end up going off the page as a result.

For this, you will select See Item/Service in the customer's activity instead of SEE SALE.

Delete the image while on the Item record > click OK/Save and Close > then try viewing the sale again.
