Pulling Station Logs


Edge Technical Support may request Logs and Station Logs for your workstations and/or server computer in order to properly troubleshoot error messages and other potential issues.

To locate your Logs folder and Station Logs:

  1. Open File Explorer on your server computer.
  2. Navigate to your computer's C Drive > ProgramData > AJSLLC > Edge.


    enlightenedImportant note: Your server may have a different shared folder path than the C Drive. Your shared folder path can be found in your Edge Configuration as seen in the example below:

     
  3. Locate the Logs folder at the top, then right-click and select Compress to Zip File.

     
  4. Next, scroll down until you locate the Station Logs files. The number of station logs you see will depend on how many workstations you have in use. In this example since we only have one station, there is only the one Station Log for Station1.

     
  5. As you did with the Log Folder, you will highlight the Station Log file(s) then right-click and select Compress to Zip File. The zipped folders you created will appear as separate files in the folder as shown in the example below.

     
  6. The zipped file folders can be attached to an email to send into Edge Technical Support, or be easily retrieved by a technician if a technician remotely accesses your workstation for additional troubleshooting.
