Follow the steps below to bypass this error message.
First make sure the Special Order for which you are adding the item is not open elsewhere in the Edge:
- Close and reopen The Edge to clear any lingering processes, then try adding the item again.
If this error is occurring while adding a Special Order item to the system:
- Go to Services > Find > Special Order.
- Lookup the order and make sure the order has a category saved.
- Then try adding the item again.
